Annual Victims March on The State Capitol
Every year we take a bus load of survivors of crime & supporting persons to Sacramento, the California state capital, for the annual victims march which takes place March or April of each year. It is a place where photos of a love ones are displayed. A chance to make connections and network with local, State and National Victims of Crimes experts. Access local, state and national resources,information and services and linkages to connect victims/survivors to other Victims and Survivors networks and populations with similar missions.
Healing Circles - MASK would like to personally "Thank" the sponsors throughout the past six years, California Peace Officers Association , Victims of Crimes United and other affiliates for its sponsor and support provided for the past six years of providing transportation to and from the State Capitol for the Victims March.

Coming Soon:
6th Annual Evening of Remembrance- Holiday Party 2011
The Christmas party is just around the corner. The event engages undeserved families directly impacted through acts of violence and others at risk, to engage in an evening of festivities that brings about the spirit of Christmas cheer, delicious food, live entertainment, celebrated songs, dance, motivational speakers, poetry, spoken word. and a toy give away for bright eyed children. This year Healing Circles will honor the late Fred Jackson, by doing it his way and pass out red apples to all the children and their families.
The Evening of Remembrance program is dedicated in the memory of Derrick Morris, a youth who participated in the MASK programs for three years prior to his death while walking home from work. Derrick 's 2009 homicide is still unsolved along with hundreds of others within the City of Richmond, California.
Healing Circles- MASK give special thanks and acknowledgement of the following sponsors;
Chevron Richmond, Richmond Police Department Community Services, Sims Metal Corporation, 761st Tank Battalion Post -Men & Ladies Auxiliary, life long member # 8399 Veterans of Foreign Wars and Delta Dental Services.
